Florence Benta Were

Ag. Managing Director

Ms. Florence Benta Were is the Ag. Managing Director of Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest). Prior to joining KenInvest, she served the then Ministry of Planning, National Development, and Vision 2030 in April 2008 as an Economist/Statistician II, she steadily progressed to the position of Principal Economist within the State Department for Economic Planning. Throughout her tenure, she has garnered extensive expertise in Policy Formulation and Analysis, Strategic Planning and Management, Budget Preparation, and Monitoring and Evaluation within the public sector.
She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Kenyatta University.

Olivia Rachier

GM - Legal and Corporate Affairs

Ms. Olivia Rachier is currently the General Manager, Legal and Corporate Affairs.
She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths and a Certified Public Secretary (Kenya). She has over 20 years of experience in public, international and corporate law, as well as corporate governance.
Olivia has Master of Law from the University of London specializing in International Business with a focus on International Investment Law and Multinational Enterprises Law. She is a member of Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).

Guracha Adi

GM - Investor Services

Mr. Guracha Adi is currently the General Manager, Investor Services.
He has over 23 years’ experience having worked in various departments at the Authority.
Guracha holds Master of Business Administration (International Business management) from University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Arts (Business studies and Mathematics) from Kenyatta University. He is a member of Institute of Economic Affairs.

Robert S. Bwire

GM- Research, Policy Advocacy & Planning (RPAP)

Robert S. Bwire is currently the General Manager for Research, Policy Advocacy and Planning (RPAP).
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Masters in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management degrees from Nagpur University, India. Robert has played a leading role in the development of the Investment Promotion Act, 2004 and the Kenya Investment Policy. He is a member of Institute of Economic Affairs.

Pius K. Rotich

GM- Investment Promotion & Business Development Services (IP&BDS)

Pius K. Rotich is currently the General Manager, Investment Promotion & Business Development Services (IP&BDS).

He holds a Master of Business Administration (International Marketing) from Mount Kenya University (MKU) and a Bachelor of Education (Bed. Arts) from Kenyatta University, a Diploma in German Language as a Foreign Language from Carl Duisberg Centren (CDG), Germany, a Certificate on Advanced Professional Training on Planning & Organizing of Specialized Trade Fairs, Cologne & Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP) from Kenya School of Government (KSG).

He is an active member of Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK). He played a leading role in the conceptualization & delivery of KenInvest signature event Kenya International Investment Conference (KIICO) inaugurated in 2014.

Bornface Odero

GM Finance & Administration

CPA Bornface Odero serves as the GM, Finance & Administration, bringing with him over 15 years of experience from both internal and external audit environments across the private and public sectors. He has previously held positions at Kenya Law, ICT Authority, and Maseno University. Mr. Odero holds a Master’s degree in Finance, a BCOM (Finance), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Finance at Maseno University. Additionally, he holds final certifications in CPA and Certified Investments and Financial Analysts (CIFA). He is a member of ISACA, ICIFA, IIA(K), and ICPAK, as well as the Research and Publication Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors (Kenya).
