The Lake Region Economic Bloc fraternity, in collaboration with National Government Agencies, the Private Sector and Development Partners have decided to hold the LREB’s inaugural conference entitled Trade, Investment and Blue Economy Conference on 23rd to 26th October, 2018 in Bomet County under the theme, “Optimizing Shared Resources for Prosperity.” The three-day conference will be a platform to showcase the region’s investment opportunities and bring leading international, regional and national investors to engage in lively discussions with the leadership of LREB and Development Partners on increased investments to the region.

On behalf of the LREB Summit, and indeed the 14 Million people from the Lake Region Economic Bloc, it is my great pleasure to invite all our stakeholders to prepare for and actively participate in the Bomet Conference which has so far attracted a lot of interest. Members of the Press are invited to cover the event. Also, I invite all Kenyans that are keen on getting updated on our progress in this Bloc.
